Why Should We Care?
(About the Author)
Calming the Storm
After fifteen years of battling mental illness, I learned that the only true solution to life’s chaos is Jesus. I’ve seen Him turn suicide into peace, hatred into love, and fear into faith. If you want to find God’s treasures in the darkest pits, you’re in the right place. Here, you’ll discover resources filled with inspiration, theology, and testimony — all meant to spark your hope and help you feel salvation’s reality.
My Story
Born in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1991, I faced heartbreak, loss, and mental illness at an early age. Diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder in 2011, I’ve walked through storms few understand — but I’ve also seen God heal what I thought was impossible. Through faith, study, and surrender, He’s turned my pain into purpose. Today, I use my writing to help others discover that same relief and renewal.
My Writing
I’m a poet and author who writes about God’s grace and the power of transformation. •Born Again Series: Gritty, faith-based allegories showing that even the worst of us can change. •The Great Relief: A nonfiction work sharing my firsthand journey with faith and mental illness. •Poetry Collections •An Allegory of the Sinful Flesh More books are on the way — God willing!
